Why i do think that guys are incredibly stupid sometimes

Ok, before you step forth and voice incredibly loud on how guys aren't stupid
Relax
I am not being sexist here not being bitter
I am talking about a certain situation that seems to be happening to alot of my friends recently.

Situation:
Guy breaks up with gal telling gal that his feelings have changed coz of distance

NO KIDDING
As much as this applied to myself back then,
I am serious when i am telling u that suddenly all my friends have been experiencing the same thing for the past few months.

So recently, somehow, i have been Aunt Agony for heaps of pple,
Both guys and gals
I like to think that coz maybe i am a good listener..
But oh wells..

Friend 1: The gal
My friend and her bf broke up after 6 yrs of being tog. One day, her bf told her that his feelings for her has changed and he now likes another gal and ask her to move on.
Situation: They started doing long-dist for 3+ yrs(she was in Perth and he was in Spore), tog physically for 2+ yrs (both in Spore), then long-dist for a mth (he was in Perth and she was in Spore).
Ok, so they were doing this open relationship thing for awhile. Free to date other pple and all. Don't ask me how they do this, my selfish heart will never allow this. So guess what. Yup, the gal really moved on with an active pursuer, the guy failed to get the gal he supposedly 'love'. He regretted, want my friend back but obviously failed.

Friend 2: The guy
My friend told me that he was tog with this gal in Mel over 1 yr + ago. He needed to move to Syd so he told the gal that his feelings have changed and he did not want to do long-dist. He wanted to be friends but told her to move on. She told him that he was ever what she wanted and it was really hard to move on.
Consesus: They agreed to be friends
Finally: The gal really moved on to another guy and guess what? Yup, my friend now realises, after over a yr, that he still loves her and wants another chance to try to make this work.

Conclusion? Never let go of the one u supposedly love guys coz u might really end up losing her. I am not saying definitely, but you just might.
Bottomline: You need to at least try or you will never know
