Dear Lord

Give me, dear Lord, A true wisdom of heart. Give me a heart that is free, for only a liberated heart enjoys true freedom. Give me a heart that remains not entangled or enmeshed but one that can deeply love and yet freshly leave. Teach me to enjoy the blessings that you have showered on nme without clinging to them; To love those you send into my life without being overly attached to them, To hold their hand without wanting to retain it. Everyday help me to learn the difficult art of saying 'goodbye'to persons, places, positions and possesions. Amen
