Independence

Ok..
When most pple talk or think about me.
That is probably the first thing that come to their heads
Independence.
And then, followed by stubborness

Lol
Sometimes, i do take for granted how independent i am
Then when time comes for it.
I awe, even myself

Reason for this post is not to boast about my ability
But pls give it to me..
I just set up an ikea clothing stand

Fine.
Ikea furniture are meant to be easy but seriously,
How many Singaporean girls do you find,

1. Knows what to get, measurements and all
2. Ability to lug it home by herself
3. Looking at that stupid piece of menu paper and figuring where all the bolts and alan key goes

This is and supposed to be the job of a guy.
Yes.
My guy is still in hiding no doubt
That is why i have to do all of these myself.

Then i will think, like again.
If i am able to do all these,
These are skills that you will not be able to adopt or learn if you are just back in Spore
Why?
Coz there is your family to do it for you.

Wells, i know i have my daddy to do this for me
Or my awesome cousins to carry stuff for me.
Then, i will never have to do it for myself right?

And then, there is also the
Earning to support oneself.
Learning how to manage your expenses.
Your finances.

Also, there is also the,
Learning how to cook
Imagine eating out everyday.
You will be so so SO disgusted with outside food
Grocery shopping definitely needed.
Which also equates to lugging home all that you have bought
= Muscular arms
Therefore, i can safely say that i am definitely not one of those weak Singaporean gals who cannot carry things.

Washing.
By trial and error.
I have admittedly, destroyed a couple of clothes
Somehow, surprisingly, still destroyed lesser than my mum
LOL.
I think my mummy is hopeless,
She is only good as a career woman.

So nevertheless, i am bringing back all these skills with me back to Spore
These awesome skills which will no doubt be useful for my future..
